RadCase is a local-first educational app. Learning activity stays on your device, and optional diagnostic reporting is off until you choose to enable it.

This Privacy Policy explains how Parikh Radiology ("Parikh Radiology," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in RadCase, an educational radiology case-review application for iOS, Android, and the web. It applies to the RadCase app and its app-managed storage. It does not replace the privacy terms of an app store, operating system, browser, linked publication, or third-party website.
RadCase does not require an account or login and does not operate an application backend. The following learning and app data is stored locally on your device or in your browser:
RadCase does not collect names, email addresses, account credentials, payment information, contacts, precise or approximate location, advertising identifiers, or patient records for its core app functions. RadCase has no advertising, cross-app tracking, session replay, or user-upload feature for patient studies. It does not request access to your camera or microphone. Do not enter, import, or upload protected health information or other patient-identifying information into RadCase.
Diagnostic reporting is off by default. If you expressly enable it during first use or in Settings, RadCase may send technical crash and performance information to Sentry, our diagnostics service provider. This may include app version, operating-system and device characteristics, stack traces, error messages, timing information, and an IP address used to deliver the network request. RadCase configures diagnostics to remove default personal identifiers, user fields, request URLs, local file paths, free-form context, quiz state, images, DICOM content, screenshots, view hierarchy, and session replay. Diagnostic data is used only to identify crashes, investigate technical problems, and improve reliability. It is not used for advertising or tracking and is not sold. You can withdraw consent at any time in RadCase Settings; disabling diagnostics stops new diagnostic events but does not recall events already transmitted.
RadCase includes release-bundled educational content and may download approved educational images or DICOM archives from source hosts for offline study. When your device requests content or you open a citation or license link, the destination provider may receive routine network information such as your IP address, browser or device information, and request time under its own privacy policy. Parikh Radiology does not use those requests to create an advertising profile or track you across apps or websites.
Local learning data and app-managed downloads remain on your device until you delete them, clear app data, clear browser storage, or uninstall the app, subject to routine operating-system or browser backups and cache behavior. If diagnostics are enabled, diagnostic events are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to investigate reliability and security issues, according to the retention settings of our Sentry project, and are then deleted or de-identified. Because RadCase has no user accounts and diagnostic events are not intentionally tied to an account or direct identifier, we may be unable to locate a particular diagnostic event as belonging to you.
You control the data managed by RadCase on your device. You may turn diagnostic sharing on or off in Settings. The Clear All Data control removes RadCase local database records, settings, queued downloads, and app-managed cached files. You may also uninstall the app or clear the site's browser storage. Your operating system, browser, backup provider, or device-management service may retain copies or cache remnants outside RadCase's control. RadCase minimizes data collection by keeping learning activity on your device. Network requests for approved educational downloads, external links, software updates, and consented diagnostics use the security controls provided by the relevant platform and service, including HTTPS where supported. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security for data held by your device, browser, network provider, or a third-party service.
RadCase presents educational case material and is not an electronic health record, diagnostic medical device, or source of diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice. The app is not designed to collect patient health information. Do not use RadCase to store or process information about an identifiable patient, and do not rely on it for emergency or individual patient-care decisions.
RadCase is intended for radiology professionals, trainees, and adult learners. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a contact channel, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
We may update this Privacy Policy when RadCase features, service providers, legal requirements, or data practices change. We will post the revised policy at this URL and update the effective date above. Material changes will be reflected in the app or store disclosures when required.
